The Greater 50: Call to Action
“The Greater 50: Call to Action” is a report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) that talks about Gender Equity, Parity & Intelligence in the workplace.
I was given the job to illustrate the 7 Recommendations that were crafted to capture the voices of a cross-section of stakeholders in a holistic and transparent manner along with other visuals including the cover.
I may not have had enough creative freedom during this project, and working with a high level organisation such as FICCI, came with its own set of hurdles. I had many restrictions and the team wanted very specific types of illustrations. However, I learnt a lot- not only about policy advocacy but how to create these visuals that cater to a very large demographic. This project is one that is very close to my heart. It was so gratifying to be a part of something this big and play an actual role in contributing to social change.
The Report has been launched by India’s Honourable Minister for Women and Child Development, Smriti Irani.
